How to Find the Red Potato
To begin this secret objective, you must first have unlocked the initial Golden Potato in your game inventory. Head over to Remy's house and inspect the glowing sparkles near his kitchen refrigerator. Interacting with the sparkles will cause the Red Potato to pop out onto the floor for you to pick up.
Keep in mind that you do not need to finish the full golden questline before grabbing this item. Simply having the original golden item available in your game state satisfies the hidden prerequisite. Once the bright red root vegetable is in your backpack, you are ready to move on to the culinary stage.
Gathering the Secret Ingredients
Transforming the Red Potato requires combining it with four specific ingredients at any cooking station. You will need one Lobster from the Glade of Trust, one Chili Pepper from the Sunlit Plateau, one Raspberry from the Plaza or Meadow, and Slush Ice from Remy's pantry. Slush Ice becomes available for purchase after completing Remy's final level 10 friendship quest.
Make sure you use a Raspberry rather than a Gooseberry to avoid failing the recipe creation process. Toss all five items into a cooking pot to cook up a unique dish called Icy-Red Stew... Yuck?! This five-star creation serves as the key item needed to finalize the secret questline.
Obtaining the Raging Red Potion
With the strange red stew sitting in your inventory, open your map or walk to the Dreamlight Castle to travel to the Ratatouille Realm. Walk over to the order serving hatch located inside Remy's restaurant realm and interact with the window. Place the Icy-Red Stew... Yuck?! directly onto the serving hatch to trigger the final transformation.
The hatch will convert your questionable meal into a bottle of Raging Red Potion. Collect the potion from the window and store it safely in your home storage chest. This completed potion will eventually work alongside other colored concoctions to unlock the rare Rainbow Fox companion.
